Robert Morris: Retrospective

This retrospective exhibition gives brilliant insight into the artist’s work of the last 4 decades. Credit for this highly sensitive selection of Morris’ work goes to Rosalind Krauss, who curated the exhibition. We invited artist and curator to come back to the Guggenheim Museum for a second look at the exhibition. The filmed walk-through gives a vivid sense of the artist’s progress and documents the views of the artist and Rosalind Krauss, one of the most significant critics of our time.

moony and Joey Brodnax present WARNING HIGH CUBE - a film accompanying the release of moony’s debut album of the same name. After amassing an impressive collection of genre-spanning EPs scouring depths of emotion, pain, anger, relief, and hope, burgeoning Nashville-based indie alternative rocker Seth Findley (AKA moony) is at full form, ready to deliver his debut LP to the world. WARNING HIGH CUBE is a bold full-throttle whirlwind of a hero’s journey, serving as moony’s definitive allegory of his life so far, exploring swirling ideas of existentialism, nature, animals, spirituality, love, friendship, and the threads that hold humanity together. moony & Joey set out to create a unique audio/visual pairing for the album, unlike anything they’d seen or felt. GHOST IN THE SHELL／攻殻機動隊2.0

In the year 2029, Section 9, a group of cybernetically enhanced cops, are called in to investigate and stop a highly-wanted hacker known as 'The Puppetmaster'. Ghost in the Shell 2.0 is a reproduced version of its original 1995 counterpart. Among a numerous enhancements, for the film's 2.0 release, were a number of scenes were overhauled with 3D animation, visual improvements, and soundtrack rerecorded in 6.1 surround sound.

In a post-war alternative timeline, Japan is divided into the North, controlled by the Union, and the South, controlled by the United States. A mysterious high tower rises within the borders of the Union. Three high school students promise to cross the border with a self-built airplane and unravel the secret of the tower.

It All Started With a Stale Sandwich

50 years ago, Sydneysiders were shocked and the art world astonished by Christo's wrapping of the Little Bay coastline. Hungarian migrant and entrepreneur John Kaldor, who initiated this monumental work, has said “it all started with a stale sandwich, in Christo's studio in 1968 New York.” Now, Project 34 (by Asad Raza) is about to be unveiled, and UK artist Michael Landy is designing the exhibition to celebrate 50 years of Kaldor Public Art Projects.
