Martin, a nu-jazz trumpet player with a unique style, is fighting against convention and mediocrity. He will not accept any compromise, neither in his music, nor in love. When he gets the feeling that Kristina, the love of his life, only loves him for his musical talents, he is deeply hurt.Disappointed, he bids farewell to both her and his previous life. On the edge of society, he meets an old woman, Hanna, who bequeaths him her pain in the form of poems. Martin is immediately fascinated. Can they guide him back to himself, to Kristina, or to his music?

This is the full ten minute film from which the Russ Morgan "Meet The Bandleaders" segment was created on video in the 1980s. It features Russ in his first year, singer Linda Lee, and Lewis Julian, a former NBC page boy. Also featured is 22-year-old Billy Fisher on saxophone and clarinet (in front of the bass drum), who later played with Al Donahue and the CBS Orchestra. He was later the arranger for the Ed Sullivan and Jackie Gleason shows and the Tony Awards.

A musical show by a spirited Cuban band as part of the Las Noches del Monumental series on Spanish television... The Cuban Michael Olivera is closely connected to the jazz scene. He is one of the most important drummers in the contemporary music scene. Despite his young age, he has more than 50 recorded albums and hundreds of projects with which he participated in important festivals. He performed his art at Jazz a Vienne, Montroux Jazz Festival, Barcelona Jazz Festival and many others. In 2021, together with The Cuban Jazz Syndicate, he presented his album "Y llegó la luz". During a concert at the Teatro Monumental in Madrid at the beginning of 2022, Olivera and his bandmates performed not only songs from the mentioned album - "Para Tito Puente", "Bolero Danzongo" or "Danza del Carnaval" - but also other hits, such as "Mozambique"
