The King and Beers - A Gravel Epic in Vermont

Ex-pro cyclist, Ted King has a lot of love for his home state of Vermont. With its rolling landscapes, rugged gravel roads and its fantastic craft beer scene, he was never unhappy to return home after his time spent in pelotons around the world. As beer and bike enthusiasts, Ted and elite road and CX racer Regina Legge, are taking their gravel bikes down the road less travelled, touring brewery to brewery and learning what puts Vermont’s craft beer ahead of the bunch. As they head north to south, we'll take in some of Vermont's challenging climbs and learn a thing or two about beer along the way.

Cicliste per Caso – Grizzly Tour

The one-off documentary tells the story of two women travelling by bike across the United States, from Canada to Mexico along the Great Divide. A unique adventure through the most remote areas of the Rocky Mountains, between pristine nature and wild animals. An epic journey that led them to travel 4,000 km and climb 60,000 meters and that, day after day, forced them to face their own limits, their strength and fragilities, and tested their relationship. Because every journey is always a love story.

Blood Road

Blood Road follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the site where Rebecca’s father, a U.S. Air Force pilot, was shot down in Laos more than 40 years earlier.

Nagaremono zukan is a documentary video, release from V&R Planning (AV). "Flower Picture Book" is the second work in the bicycle trilogy after Yumika. A very private sexual movie with Tomoko Matsunashi, right after Hirano broke up with Yumika. The violence of the camera is clearly increasing. If Yumika was the light, Nagaremono zukan is the shadow. There are two version of Nagaremono zukan, the censored one and the original hardcore one, with additional scenes, better quality and longer runtime.

Sophie Planque and Jérémy Vaugeois decided to take a journey on bicycles to experience the Baltic winter and meet the people who keep their ancestral culture alive. In April 2025, I set off to cycle around Central Europe. I rode through 7 countries, crossed mountains, swam in lakes. I learnt about myself and the landscapes that I was travelling through. This short film chronicles some of the experiences I had.

So Much To Do- So little Time

The story of four young people, ShinAe Ahn who is transgender, and three others, pan-sexual, gay, and lesbian respectively, who are fed up with the oppressive and authoritarian conservative government and its influence on the country. ShinAe Ahn decides to run for the office of prime minister, with the help of her friends and supporters. She meets a lot of caring people, and also a lot of haters. The current Prime Minister is not at all tolerant of the LGBTQIA+ community and is trying his hardest to stop any party that does not follow the orders of the conservative government from running without any logical reason to do so. That creates a political divide within the country, as politicians will attack anyone who is and/or who acts differently, or who stands up for people/themselves who they personally don't like. This story however is being told after the fact, a few years after the election, when ShinAe won as prime minister.

The Cribs - Secrets Saved (A Visual Record)

The Cribs are a band from Wakefield in Britain, consisting of three brothers Gary, Ross and Ryan. This film documents the process of writing and recording their fourth album "Ignore The Ignorant" in Oregon and Los Angeles, whilst also incorporating the addition of legendary guitarist Johnny Marr (formerly of The Smiths and Electronic among many others) into their line-up.

Canary Island Bananas

Filmed on his father's plantation, Leacock’s sophisticated use of pans and tilts described the process of planting, harvesting, and shipping Canary Island bananas made with a little help from Polly Church and Noel Florence. This film was shown to family friend Robert Flaherty, who would hire him after the war, largely based on the remembrance of this early film

Queen of Apollo

In 1970 I went to New Orleans with Noel Parmentel to shoot fragments of the “The Moviegoer.” While we were down there my daughter Elspeth and I went to visit some friends of mine whose teenager daughter was to be Queen of a fancy Mardi Gras ball. I didn’t know anything about this, but my friends thought it would be a nice idea if we filmed it. So we went over for an evening; black tie, dinner gown and all the rest of it. We changed a few light bulbs in the house and unobtrusively filmed the evening. I ended up making a 12-minute short with my daughter Elspeth taking sound. – Richard Leacock
