Miles Davis: Live in Europe 1969

LIVE IN EUROPE 1969 lives up to the Miles Davis Bootleg Series mission of presenting live performances that are previously unreleased, have previously only been bootlegged, or are very rare. This new set is the first collection of Miles's Third Great Quintet, the "Lost" Band of 1968-1970 with Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Dave Holland, and Jack DeJohnette at their peak (they were never recorded in the studio). The album captures the short-lived quintet in three separate concert settings, starting with two full-length (one hour-plus) sets at the Antibes Jazz Festival in France, in Stockholm as part of "The Newport Jazz Festival In Europe," and completed with a stunning 46-minute performance at the Berlin Philharmonie, filmed in color. Jean-Michel Jarre - Starmus: Bridge from the Future

Staged as the opening event of the seventh edition of STARMUS Festival and supported by ESET Digital Security, ‘Bridge From The Future’ was Jarre’s most ambitious live production to date. A sweeping sci-fi soundscape with stunning visual storytelling, choreographed light and laser displays, a 400-drone ballet, fireworks, and an architectural stage, designed by Jarre, that framed the iconic UFO Bridge with twin 30-metre towers. The concert also marked an historic first-time collaboration between Jarre and Queen guitarist Sir Brian May, who joined him on stage for a powerful new arrangement of Dvořák’s ‘New World Symphony’ as well as newly adapted works ‘Bratislava Time’ and ‘Rendez-vous Bratislava’. Jarre was accompanied by longtime collaborator Claude Samard and rising British artist Adiescar Chase, with contributions from the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and a 19-piece chorus from the Slovak Philharmonic Choir.

One Note Symphony: Live In Tel Aviv sees the artist again in concert this time in collaboration with the 'Israel Philharmonic Orchestra'. On this occasion Alan said: Whenever I have the opportunity to play with a Symphony Orchestra, I always try to put into the setlist songs that we otherwise would not be able to perform live, such as the epic Silence and I from the album Eye In the Sky, for example. We also took this opportunity to play The Sorcerer's Apprentice from our latest studio album, The Secret. It is a new version of a well-known classic song written by the Frenchman Paul Dukas which originally appeared in the film Fantasia.
